Hello,
My name is Diana Collicutt and I am seeking your vote for election on City Council October 17, 2026.
As a 32-year resident of Powell River, I have developed a solid understanding of our community, its strengths, its challenges, and its opportunities. I care about the future of our community and know my experience, knowledge, and commitment can help make a positive difference over the next four years.
About me
Within my working career I have:
- Over 20 years of work in local government, in key City departments
- Experience in community land-use planning, development processes, policy and bylaw writing
- Strong values for government transparency, accountability, public engagement and open discussion
- Experience with the Local Government Act and Community Charter
- Clear understanding of the municipal five-year financial plan budget cycle
- Experience in non-profit housing administration and property management
- Leadership roles with the Townsite Ratepayers’ Society and the Townsite Heritage Society
- UBC Degree in Urban Geography
