Campaign Donation Rules
You can make a campaign contribution if you are:
- a resident of BC, and
- a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- an individual (not a business)
Organizations cannot make campaign contributions or reimburse individuals for making campaign contributions.
Elections BC 2026 maximum donation per individual is $1,429.70.
Donations of $100+ are included in campaign finance reports by Elections BC.
